THE VISITOR

Imagine your school playground transforming before your eyes—tunnels become treacherous waters, ball courts turn into refugee camps. This is The Visitor, an immersive audio experience that brings to life the harrowing yet hopeful journey of Pearl Htoo, a refugee from Burma (played by Julie Cheung-Inhin), who mysteriously arrives at Tidemill Academy for one unforgettable week.

How did she get here? What struggles has she faced? As thirty pupils and teachers embark on this gripping tour, they’ll walk in the footsteps of real refugees, uncovering powerful stories of resilience and survival—stories unfolding in their very own neighborhood.

Adapted to the school curriculum by Jack Brown, The Visitor comes with a full suite of worksheets and activities, making it a transformative learning experience. And the best part? This project can be tailored to any school, anywhere, ensuring that every student has the chance to connect with these vital, real-world narratives. Step inside The Visitor—where the past and present collide, and every journey has a story worth telling.
